Teaching & Learning With The 4QM
We will be at the MCSS conference again this fall. This conference offers three sessions over the course of the day, with lunch and a keynote address. We will have separate workshops for each of the three sessions, and you can attend any or all of them: they work together or separately. The first will be an introduction and overview of the Four Question Method, emphasizing our focus on creating “philosopher-citizens.” After that we’ll be doing a workshop on Question Three and historical explanation, and one on creating meaningful assessments that actually require kids to demonstrate their historical thinking skills.
